Because There Is More To Survival Than Carrying A Right Knife!

Watching Bear Grills navigating through toughest remote locations, exemplifying the survival skills on the 32 inch screen is indeed relatable. Because we all are self-proclaimed survival experts. But when an outdoor adventure tests us we get to know our lowest scoring cards. Life threatening situation like escalating heartbeats or ceasing of breath is something which nobody bargains for. Survival is not only about carrying the best outdoor knives but it is about understanding your physical competence. To help you plan an adventure in conformity with your physical shape, we have listed some points -

# Can your body hold out without Water?
Many survival sagas are about the maximum days one stood out without water. It may vary – from 3 to 10 days but don’t go after these stories. You must equip your baggage with sufficient water collector devices. If we go after some common studies, three days without water is the uppermost limit of body’s tolerance. With no or minimal access to water, your survival plan may plummet.

# Have enough food supply
Of course, you can’t carry along the pantry for your adventure trip but you can carry nutritional bars and food packages for the campaign. Food is an important source of energy. Also, you should hone some hunting tricks which may help you escape the hunger times.

# Roof over head is important
We understand that the purpose of an adventure expedite is not staying packed in a guest house or a hotel room. But you need roof to shelter yourself from dripping – in and out of temperature (which may bring along the threat of hypothermia) or uninviting threats of wild animal attacks. So instead of spending all the time reading about the best outdoor knives, you can take some time out to sharpen your skills to build a roof out in the open.

# Not every item which appears edible can be eaten!
Yes, neither every green plant with soft scaly leaves is an herb nor every red berry like fruit is juicy delicious! Research well to bank up your knowledge about the poisonous fruits, plants and trees. You can always refer the online and offline content related to survival food.
